A bit long in the coming - despite lockdown, life has been pretty hectic - here is my latest portrait demonstration.
As with the previous demos, I'm using a limited palette of Burnt Umber, French Ultramarine, Cadmium Red, Cadmium Yellow and white.
These are small exercises to increase familiarity with the colours and colour mixing in general and are great practise in drawing and painting. I'm not going to get upset if they don't work out and I'm likely to have learnt something so the effort is never wasted.
Here's the image I used as reference - more a guide to inspire than something to copy exactly.
