Colour mixing for skin tones
I’ve created this video to accompany the portrait demonstrations I intend to do while we’re all having to stay indoors. I’ve chosen basic colours to mix skin tone, colours which you should hopefully already have if you’ve got acrylics or oils in your paint box. Using these 5 colours you can mix a vast array of hues – it just takes practise of looking at your reference and working out what colour to add to bring your mix close the the colour you want.

- Burnt Umber
- Cadmium Red
- Cadmium Yellow
- French Ultramarine
- Titanium White
