Born Frances Yelverton in Easton Mauduit, Northamptonshire, England in 1655. She married Viscount Christopher Hatton (IV) in 1675 and lived at the Hatton estate of Kirby Hall, Corby, Northamptonshire. She died in 1684 and is buried in St. James' Church, Gretton, Northamptonshire. The inscription on her memorial reads: 'Too many children' as she bore 5 children whom all died at a young age. Original portrait believed to have been painted by Mary Beale c1675.
